Author Bio

Jimmy Dunne

Jimmy Dunne is a modern-day Renaissance man who successfully crisscrosses the worlds of art and business. As a songwriter, his songs have been on 28,000,000 records worldwide with dozens of gold and platinum records (including Whitney Houston, Kenny Rogers, Anne Murray, Take 6); along with scores, songs, and themes in over 1,500 television episodes and many hit movies (Pretty Woman, Fame, Olympic Games). Screenwriting and producer credits include Paramount Pictures’ hit series, Happy Days.

He’s the founder of Inspire (a celebrated music & branding firm), a piano recording artist on 40+ records, the commissioner of USA Bocce, and now a book author. Married to award‑winning interior designer Catherine Bailly Dunne, they have two daughters and reside in Pacific Palisades, California.​

Susan Blackaby

Susan Blackaby pursues her creative and professional lives across a flurry of pages. On the clock, Suz specializes in early literacy and has written hundreds of fiction and nonfiction titles for the K-8 audience.

Joellyn Cicciarelli

With 25+ years’ experience in publishing, Joellyn Cicciarelli has written numerous children’s books and developed award-winning literacy programs, religious education curriculum for all ages, and books and resources for adults. She was editor for Fred Rogers of Mister Roger’s Neighborhood, producing his longest-running book series for teachers. Joellyn is the architect of Adaptive Finding God, a comprehensive faith formation program for children with disabilities and the author of a variety of children’s books and curricula, including The InvestiGator Club Prekindergarten Learning System.

Joellyn is currently the President and Publisher of Loyola Press. Prior to this role, she served the organization as Vice President of New Product Development and Director of Curricula Development, leading the editorial and design teams. Joellyn has been a speaker at the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress, the Mid-Atlantic Congress, and a variety of regional and diocesan events.

Linda Schlafer

Linda Schlafer is an editor and freelance writer for a publishing house in Chicago. She has two grown children and lives on a homestead in southwest Iowa, where she keeps bees and chickens.

Carol Lynn Pearson

Carol Lynn Pearson is a writer of fiction and nonfiction, a prize-winning poet, and a playwright.
